Act as statesman and stop peddling lies. Mr Ebenezer Boadi slams President Mahama.

The founder of Hope; a volunteer group in the NPP, Mr Ebenezer Boadi has slam President John Mahama over unfounded accusations and allegations labelled against the electoral commission.

The former president during his “Thank You” tour had among other things accused the Electoral Commission of ballot stuffing, fraud, militarization of the process, among others.

Mr. Mahama who led the National Democratic Congress in the 2020 polls described the 2020 election as the worst  election in the history of Ghana and has therefore asked electoral commission to work towards redeeming its image in the next 2024 elections.

Reacting to the statement, Mr Ebenezer Boadi , the founder and leader of the vibrant volunteer group said that president John Mahama  does not respect the rule of law in the country and he is not acting as a responsible statesman.

According to him, the former president should act as a statesman who will offer advise to his party supporters and Ghanaians a whole to respect Ghana’s rule of law.

“If election doesn’t go in you favor, you don’t move from one station to another to peddle falsehood. Mr Mahama was in court but couldn’t provide a single evidence to support his claims of electoral fraud. The former president should know that he is a statesman and now own it a duty to respect and protect Ghana’s rule of law and also advise his supporters as such. Peddling falsehood against independent state institutions is an act of irresponsible statesmanship and disrespect to the country’s rule of law”.

“The former President is still incompetent in opposition, and Ghanaians shouldn’t make any mistake to vote for him again to become a president in Ghana”.
