The Airport Police in Ghana detained international reggae musician Anthony Moses Davis, often known as Beenie Man, for violating Covid-19 rules.
Beenie Man tested positive for covid-19 when he arrived at the Kotoka International Airport last week ahead of the BhimConcert at the Conference Centre, according to Starrfm.com.gh sources.
The hitmaker for Girls Dem Sugar was told to isolate, but he defied the orders and played at the Bhimconcert with Stonebwoy and other artists.
When he attempted to board an aircraft back to Jamaica on Monday, he was arrested by Airport Police.
Beenieman is currently in police custody, according to Starrfm.com.gh sources, aiding with investigations.
