My fight with Uche Maduagwu was planned, he was paid for it – Jim Ike

Jim Iyke, a well-known Nigerian actor, has now admitted that the feud he had with Uche Maduagwu was merely a publicity ploy.

It will be remembered that the two were involved in a furious feud that erupted on the internet some time ago, with a video surfacing showing Jim Iyke tracking down and beating up his colleague, controversial actor Uche Maduagwu.

The rumored beef between the two began after Uche Maduagwu made some remarks about fellow actor Jim Iyke, inquiring about his source of money, which irritated him.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actor has now come out to disclose the truth about what really transpired.

The battle between Jim and Uche, according to Jim’s explanation during the interview, was staged in order to promote his recent film “Bad Comment,” which released in Nigerian theatres on August 27, 2021.

He added that he understood Nigerians’ desire for gossip and bad news, so he wanted to capitalize on it to promote his film, which follows a similar plot.

“I am too strategic to jeopardize the success of my film by actually getting into a real fight with Uche Maduagwu. My team came up with the plan and Uche Maduagwu was contacted and paid well for it.” – Jim Iyke said

Jim Iyke is now in Kumasi, Ghana, to promote the debut of his highly anticipated film dubbed“Bad Comment”.
