DKB accuses Ghanaian musicians of being selfish by keeping international artists to themselves.

Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, also known as DKB has accused some Ghanaian musicians of being selfish.

Most Ghanaian artists, according to the comic, hoard international artists that visit the country.

He called this type of behavior “greediness.”

“I hear when foreign artistes come down the musicians who link up with them hoard them. Eii Ghana man, he won’t open up for others to get opportunities too. How many collabos soorr u go fit record? Selfishness! Foreign artistes dierr everybody go receive some wai,” he said.

According to social media users, the comedian’s statement is in response to the recent visit of American musician Chance the Rapper and his fellow Chicago rapper Vic Mensa.

Since their arrival in the country, the two have been photographed with a number of celebrities.

During their trip in Ghana, the American artists interacted with Ghanaian celebrities such as M.anifest, Darkovibes, King Promise, Black Sherif, and Sarkodie, among others, and got a firsthand look at Ghanaian culture.
