Jackie Appiah abandoned me — Veteran actress makes shocking revelation

Helena Maame Adwoa Petreba Pieterson is heartbroken by Jackie Appiah’s treatment of her in 2018, recalling how the young actress, whom she regards to as a daughter, turned her back on her when she needed her the most.

In an interview with Step 1 TV, Adwoa Pee, as the veteran is affectionately known, revealed she was cash-strapped after being taken to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in 2018. Given the gravity of the situation, she made calls to friends, relatives, and business colleagues, including Jackie Appiah, only to have the young actress hang up on her.

According to Adwoa Pee, further attempts to reestablish touch with Jackie Appiah were useless, prompting her to ponder what offense she had committed to be treated in this manner by her family. In an interview with GhanaWeb, Adwoa Pee stated that Jackie Appiah’s actions were deliberate.

“I needed GH6,000 to pay my bills, but I didn’t have that amount.” I only got half of it. As a result, I began summoning people to come to my rescue. I was still in excruciating discomfort. I contacted colleagues… It was sad when I called my own daughter. Adwoa Pee reflected, “I’m still depressed.”

“I’m in a lot of pain… She shows me respect, but I’m not sure what happened to her that day. I was on admittance at Korle Bu, she replied, and she started a talk about our last meeting at a fantastic event. During the conversation, I informed her that I had been accepted to Korle Bu. She cut the line as soon as she heard that. “I tried calling her multiple times, but she never responded,” the veteran claimed.

She also stated that she resorted to text messaging when she discovered her calls were being ignored. But that, too, provided no consequences.

“As a result, I wrote her a message requesting Kalsoume Sinare’s phone number. She didn’t answer at all. I was depressed. Jackie Appiah, my own daughter,” Adwoa Pee lamented.

The veteran, on the other hand, claimed that Nana Ama McBrown’s story was different. Nana Ama McBrown consoled her and promised to help her when the time came because she, too, had spent a lot of money on surgery abroad.

“Nana Ama McBrown had a pleasant conversation with me. She explained that she, too, had recently undergone surgery and that if I gave her some time, she would come and assist me. Even the way she spoke to me was soothing. All we require from them is this. “Some of them forget that we built the platform for them,” Adwoa Pee remarked.

She insisted, however, that she holds no grudges against Jackie Appiah and that all she needs is “a hug from her [Jackie].”

Meanwhile, Adwoa Pee is appealing to the public for financial assistance so that she can have surgery. She claims to be suffering from spondylosis.

“We’re looking at a budget of between $60,000 and $110,000 in the United States.” (USD60,000–$110,000) Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please I’ve got an issue. “I’m telling you right now that I have a problem, so please come to my rescue so that I can pay for the operation and get better,” the actress pleaded.
