The NDC Western Regional minority caucus in parliament today joined the Western Regional executives in supporting Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe, the MP for Prestea Huni Valley Constituency, in making donations to the victims of the unfortunate Apeatse-Bogoso explosion.
Members of parliament led by the caucus chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah (MP Ellembelle), and the caucus secretary, Hon. Eric Afful (MP Wassa Amenfi west), did so in support of their colleague MP, Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe, who represents the wonderful people of Pretea Huni Valley.
Hon. Kwakye Ackah (MP Wassa Amenfi Central), Hon. Nicholas Amankwah (MP Wassa Amenfi East), Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe (MP Evalue Ajomoro Gwira), and the caucus’ only female member, Hon. Dorcas Affo Toffey, accompanied them.
Nana Toku, the Western Regional Chairman, led his dedicated Regional team in collaborating with MPs to make donations on behalf of the excellent NDC Western Region.
The team went on a tour of the accident sites to acquire firsthand knowledge. They next met with the Prestea Huni Valley Disaster Management Committee, which is led by the District’s DCE, Hon. Dr. Isaac Dasmani.
Following fruitful negotiations, the crew proceeded to Bepo’s palace, where the chief thanked the NDC for the generous gesture.
The group went to the new camp to meet the victims and make donations on behalf of the MP and the party.
Regional vice Hon. Daniel Eshun, regional communication officer Richard Kirk-Mensah, and regional deputy secretary Charles Kojo Adu-Fordjour were among the regional executives who joined the team.
