I will FIX Ghana education system with my experience from America – Adutwum

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, has brushed aside charges that he is tampering with the country’s educational system.

He explained that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government’s policies are not only about people, but about the sector as a whole, and that they cannot afford to play games with it.

“It’s not about me, or even about the president; it’s about the country’s development.” I arrive at work at 6:30 a.m., happy because we are transforming the country, and I hear people ask, “What is he doing?” What am I doing, eeei? (laughter) We work because we have to,” he explained.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum made the remarks while appearing at the Ministers Press Briefing earlier today.

He stated that he left the United States of America for Ghana because he believes he can use his knowledge there to assist reform the education sector in this country.

“I’m not going to abandon what I’m doing in America to come here and mess about.” We were in the midst of some hard work in Los Angeles. When the President saw me, he told me to come here and assist him overhaul the school system.

“I left my school with over 200 employees to come here and goof around?” I’ve come here to wreak havoc on the educational system, right? “Any day, if I can help improve the American education system, I’ll help raise my country’s education system,” he stated.
