Fameye, a Ghanaian rapper and singer from Bogoso, pays a visit to the people of Bogoso, Appiatse, who were victims of an unfortunate incident, to donate some stuff.
Appiatse is a neighborhood in Bogoso, a gold-mining town in Ghana’s Western Region.
After a Tarkwa-bound truck carrying explosives for a mining company collided with a motorbike in Appiatse on Thursday afternoon, January 20, 2022, Ghana was hit by sad news, which came as a complete surprise. Many people were reported dead, while others were injured and hospitalized.
Fameye, a Grammy Award-winning Ghanaian musician whose legal name is Peter Famiyeh Bozah, was among the celebrities who reacted to the tragic event and expressed their condolences to the people of Appiaste. He has now paid a visit to the town to show his support.
Fameye, who is from Bogoso and was recently enstooled as Wasa Nyankonton (Rainbow Of Wasa) at Bogoso, was devastated when she learned of the incident.
Although Fameye was abroad of the nation (Ghana) at the time of the tragedy, he was quick to respond to the tragic news on his official and verified social media accounts. He expressed his profound condolences to families who lost loved ones in the Bogoso Explosion and prayed for those who were injured in his post.
He also stated that when he returns from his trip overseas, he will pay a visit to the town’s elders in order to assist them in restoring order.
On Monday, January 31st, 2021, the singer/rapper followed through on his pledge, paying a visit to the folks with his team to support them by delivering food, toiletries, and other necessities.
Serwaa Amihere and her foundation, as well as Mc Berry Biscuits, backed him up.
He released pictures from his visit to the town and victims on his official and verified Instagram account.
