Ghana Airport Company Limited shuts down McDan’s private jet services terminal

Management of Ghana Airports Company has shut down McDan Aviation Company’s freshly opened private jet facility.

The move comes after the business refused to delay the terminal’s opening as requested by Ghana Airport Company’s MD, Yaw Kwakwa, due to security and safety concerns.

According to reports seen by riversfmonline.com on Starr News room, armed security personnel stormed the terminal Monday night to shut it down.

In a letter to the MD, union officials emphasized their support for management’s efforts to ensure adherence to regulations while also requesting that McDan fulfill outstanding financial obligations related to the terminal’s acquisition.

According to Abdul Issaka Bamba, divisional Union Chairman of GACL, Ghana’s Kotoka International Airport faces downgrading as a result of the breaches detailed in the MD’s letter to McDan.

Mr. Bamba has warned that unless the problems are resolved, union members will not be deployed to the terminal.
