Election 2024: NDC is Battle-Ready – Chairman Ofosu Ampofo Declares

The head of the National Democratic Congress, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has indicated that the party will be battle-ready in the 2024 general elections.

It will also be especially vigilant at numerous voting locations across the country.

He says that the NDC would leave nothing to chance. This is due to the fact that they have taken important lessons from the 2020 elections.

Before the elections, Ofosu-Ampofo asked party members to stick together.

He has also counseled against internal squabbles.

“We’ve been through a lot of disasters.” He stated, “Our founder died a few months before the elections.”

“If it had been a different party, they would have given up.” Despite this, we were able to fit our puzzle pieces together and navigate the post-Rawlings era with ease,” the Chairman explained.

“My prayer is that we remain unified and that peace prevails as we go through the various elections so that our party can flourish and become powerful and stable, and that we will not rely on any individual to survive as a party.” Because it’s not easy to lose your party’s founder just months before an election. On January 21, 2022, he declared in Twi, “I want to thank everyone for the continued togetherness that has allowed us to carry the party ahead.”

According to Ofosu-Ampofo, the NDC is in good shape and ready to compete against any political party in the next general elections, which would be a do-or-die scenario.

He explained that his remark was not meant to raise alarm bells, but rather to encourage party members to be cautious at polling places on election day.

“As I speak, the NDC is quite robust and healthy.” It is a horse that is ready to fight and win a war. I can promise you that in 2024, it will be a do or die situation. It isn’t a brawl. It implies that if it takes sleeping and cooking in our polling stations until the election results are announced and the actual results are transmitted [we will do so].”

“On that one, we’re not going to make any concessions.” We might even set up camp at the polling place the day before the elections. Do or die means that in the polling place, we shall be diligent and watchful,” Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo said.
