Following a petition from their lawyers, an Accra Circuit Court has deferred the case involving Ghanaian dancehall recording artist Shatta Wale, his three accomplices, and rapper Medikal till Monday, February 21.
On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the court was in session to hear their case.
As many of you are aware, the two were caught by the police for disobeying the law, for which they were sentenced to a week in jail before being given bail.
Shatta Wale, whose legal name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., was arrested on October 19, 2021, along with his three accomplices, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator, for inciting fear and panic following his phony shooting statement.
Samuel Frimpong alias Medikal, a Ghanaian hip-hop rapper, was also detained for flashing a pistol (gun) on social media.
The dancehall performer arrived for the case hearing in the video below, which was posted by TV3.
