More trouble for Bobie Ansah as Anyidoho drags him to police over Mills’ death

The Founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho, has petitioned the Ghana Police Service to have Kwabena Bobie Ansah, the embattled Accra FM host, probed for some bizarre and harmful comments shared in a YouTube video he circulated.

In an interview with Asempa FM, Koku Anyidoho said he also wants a formal inquest into the death of late President John Evans Atta Mills, because the video implicates him in a way that needs to be cleared.

According to Koku Anyidoho’s appeal, a YouTube video posted in the name of a certain JM Ba Kwadwo contained open verbal threats against him, as well as a bold notification of plans to harm him.

“On February 7, 2022, at 2:36 p.m., a YouTube video clip in the name of a certain JM Ba Kwadwo was widely shared by a certain well-known radio presenter by the name of Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah, who also hosts a radio program on Accra FM.”

“In the video footage, open threats are made verbally against me, as well as a bold warning of planned attacks on me in various methods.”

“Also, I’ve been accused of playing a role in the death of late President John Atta Mills, which occurred on July 24, 2012.” I’ve also been accused of traveling to shrines with photos of former President John Dramani Mahama with the sole intent of murdering him.

“In light of the foregoing, I humbly report the situation to the police, who will examine the above-mentioned suspects’ exceedingly crazy and harmful comments directed against me.”

Anyidoho’s appeal to the CID stated, “I also take this occasion to request an official inquest into the death of the late President Atta Mills to clear my identity and safeguard my reputation.”

Koku confirmed that he wrote the letter and stated that all he wants the police to do is ensure that the law is followed and that those who make false accusations against him are brought to justice.
