Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress, model, film producer, and entrepreneur, shares some personal details about her life, including how she got into performing and her regrets.
Most of us only know Yvonne as an actress and model, but one thing we didn’t know about her was that she used to be a rapper back when she was at Aggrey Memorial SHS.
While asked who she is, actress Ophelia Ofori Amankwaah, better known as Afia Amankwaah Tamakloe, characterized herself as someone with a huge heart who loves to see people around her win when she is also winning in an interview with Ghanaian TV and radio personality, journalist, Ophelia Ofori Amankwaah.
The actress, who studied Business at Aggrey Memorial SHS, admitted that she failed her WASSCE due to her involvement in the entertainment industry.
She went on to say that because she used to be a rapper and failed to write her Accounting and Costing assignments, she was more focused on coming on stage every Saturday to entertain the crowd rather than learning.
Yvonne, said she regretted her conduct after seeing her friends pass and go to universities.
But that didn’t deter her; she worked hard to achieve her goals, and in the end, despite failing the WASSCE, she recently received her master’s degree credential from GIMPA.
