102-Year-Old Woman declare Plans On Running For President In 2023 Election

A woman in her 102nd year Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, a Nigerian, has expressed interest in standing for President of the Republic of Nigeria in the impending 2023 Presidential elections.

Nigeria, Africa’s largest country, will hold its next elections on February 18, 2023, to elect a new president to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, who is serving his second term.

The battle for Nigeria’s 2023 presidential elections is heating up, with 102-year-old Ezeanyaeche, better known as ‘living legend’ or ‘Mama Africa,’ expressing interest in running.

She is the creator of the ‘Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria’ group and a native of Aguata, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Mama Africa announced her intentions during a recent visit to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) management team in Abuja, where she was welcomed by NTA Director-General Yakubu Ibn Mohammed.

She claims that if the younger Nigerian generation refuses to participate in politics, she will take up the mantle and run for office.

“If Nigerians are hesitant to participate in politics, she says she is willing to run.” She’s already written herself a manifesto. She is a visionary. If the good ones don’t show up for the competition…”
