Fosu Zongo will never see any development under my tenure – Kennedy Agyapong vows

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has chastised his party, the ruling New Patriotic Party, for sending development projects to the opposition’s strongholds at the expense of the party’s own strongholds.

In the name of democracy, his party, according to the outspoken MP, is demonstrating terrible hypocrisy.

Kennedy Agyapong criticized the lack of road infrastructure in his Central Region, which he highlighted is a bastion of the NPP, on Thursday, February 17 edition of the morning on show on Net2 TV.

According to him, despite knowing the circumstances in his region, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwaku Amoako Atta, continues to direct road construction to other parts of the country considered to be opposition strongholds.

“You go around taking large loans and directing them to places where we get 0% votes in elections, leaving us to our faith.” When we lose in the Central Region, you come back to question us.

“What kind of politics is that, where you love your neighbor but despise yourself?” To be honest, the NPP enjoys being hypocritical. Before you look elsewhere, you must first consolidate your base,” he explained.

He went on to say that one of his political principles is to make sure that those who vote for him, particularly those in his constituency, come first.

“When I had the chance to assist certain persons in becoming police officers, I removed the names of several people who voted against me from a list that was handed to me….. When you bring the two of them together, do you expect me to help someone who is voting for me to become an MP and someone who is voting against me to lose? That is something I have never done.
