Crusaders Against Corruption, an anti-corruption organization, has brought Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, before the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
The Organization has asked the Special Prosecutor to investigate Kennedy Agyapong for statements made on Asaase Radio on February 22, 2022, in a petition dated February 23, 2022.
The charges that the Assin Central MP took GH120,000 from the Chief of Staff to deliver to Dome-MP, Kwabenya’s Sarah Adwoa Safo, are included in the publication.
Mr. Agyapong further claimed that a private plane was rented for Adwoa Safo to fly into Ghana from the United States in order for her to join her NPP colleagues in Parliament for E-levy votes.
“Mr. Special Prosecutor, in accordance with the aforementioned, Crusaders Against Corruption Ghana (CACG) is officially petitioning your office to as a matter of urgency, public interest, and preserving the public purse,” the Chief Crusader, Emmanuel Wilson Jnr requested.
