COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah named among world’s distinguished female police officers

COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, the former Director-General in Charge of the Police Professional and Standards Bureau, has been selected among the world’s most accomplished female police officers.

Tiffany-Victoria Bilon Enriquez of the Honolulu Police Department, Hawaii, USA, Tanya McLachlan of the Vancouver Police Department, British Columbia, Canada, Tara Duffy of the Metropolitan Police, UK, Valerie Gates of the Barry Police Service, Ontario, Canada, Superintendent Vicky Washington of the Metropolitan Police, UK, Jackie Reilly, A/Deputy Director, Fleet Supply and Weapo.

COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, according to the IAWP, “has distinguished herself by demonstrating a continuing long-term commitment to leadership using exceptional personal skills, leading teams and team building, developing others, organizational skills, and administration that has an outstanding positive impact within her agency or area of responsibility.”

“In terms of results, she is a force to be reckoned with.” Her interpersonal and relational abilities are exceptional, and she is a role model for everyone. The essence of leadership, she thinks and exhibits, is to serve and empower your people.

“Her great emotional intelligence, forthrightness, and sense of humor appeal her to those with whom she works on a regular basis; as a result, achievements are achieved under her leadership in an atmosphere of teamwork and support for all members.” Commissioner Addo-Danquah is a priceless asset to the Ghana Police Service, according to the statement.
