Chairman Wontumi submits $3.1billion bid to buy Chelsea Football Club

Chairman Wontumi has submitted what appears to be an official proposal to Chelsea Football Team, indicating that he is serious about purchasing the club.

The NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman had previously indicated genuine interest in purchasing Chelsea Football Club.

The Chelsea Football Team has been placed up for sale following the departure of Roman Abramovich, with the top stakeholder anticipated to pay around 3 billion pounds to purchase the club.

As a result, Chairman Wontumit, a well-known businessman and the NPP’s financier, has indicated interest in purchasing the club.

He believes he has what it takes to buy the majority of Chelsea’s shares and overtake Roman Abramovich as the club’s owner.

On the internet, an official bid letter to Chelsea Football Club has appeared.

An excerpt of the letter reads…

“I am by this letter writing to officially declare my intention the purchase of same. My official bid is in the range of Three-Point One Billion Dollars ($3.2 B). My legal Team and Transactional advisors are ready to engage in negotiations.”
