Stephen Amoah appointed Non-Executive Director of state-owned GCB Bank

Stephen Amoah, a member of Parliament’s Finance Committee, has been named to the Board of the state-owned GCB Bank as a Non-Executive Director.

Stephen Amoah’s appointment began in February 2022, according to a circular released by the Ghana Stock Exchange on March 8, 2022.

The circular stated, “GCB announces the appointment of Hon Dr. Stephen Amoah as a non-executive director of the bank’s board of directors, beginning February 24, 2022.”

Dr. Stephen Amoah was first appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2017. (MASLOC).

He was elected Member of Parliament for the Nhyiaeso constituency in the Ashanti Region in 2020.

In the meantime, in addition to Stephen Amoah, the state-owned GCB Bank has added Daniel Kweku Tweneboah Asirifi to the bank’s Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director.

Daniel Asirifi’s appointment likewise takes effect on February 24, 2022.
