An American Singer, songwriter, and record producer R. Kelly has just made a young lady’s day brighter by singing to her over the phone from prison.
The artist was seen singing one of his love songs, “love letter,” to a lady whose father shares the same Brooklyn prison as the singer in a video spotted online and quickly went viral.
R.Kelly in Jail: The singer, whose legal name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was found guilty of being the leader of a criminal operation whose goal was to lure girls, boys, and women into prostitution by a jury of seven men and five women in the Eastern District of New York, as we reported back in September 2021.
He was accused with bribery, kidnapping, forced labor, sexual exploitation of a child, cross-state sexual trafficking, and racketeering involving six victims over a 30-year period.
Kelly will be sentenced on May 4 in his native state of Illinois and in Minnesota, where he is also facing sex-related crimes. He might spend anything from ten years to the rest of his life in prison.
In a video posted on Tiktok by @jizzlezoldykk, she asked Kelly, a convicted sex offender, to sing a song for her, which he did.
“I wanted to ask you something, Can you sing a song for me?” he said
R. Kelly went on to ask “which one?.” The woman replied, “the ‘Love Letter.’”
The lady was ecstatic as the singer sang along; the video, which is quickly becoming viral and has gained over a million views on Tiktok as of this writing, has elicited conflicting comments on social media as others react to it.
