Drake, a Canadian rapper, musician, and actor, teamed up with LeBron James, a Los Angeles Lakers superstar, to surprise a Toronto mother with $100,000 in cash.

Looking back at his “God’s Plan” music video, the rapper who won bug in a game of Russian Roulette on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, decided not to merely enjoy the big amount he earned on his own, but instead wanted to give back to society.

Drake posted a video to his official and verified social media channels claiming that whenever he is blessed, he believes it is good karma that needs to be transmitted.

“I always assume it’s good karma that needs to be transferred whenever I’m blessed like that.” So I play for fun and in the aim of always spreading love,” the Toronto native explained.

In the video, the rapper, who was born with the legal name ‘Aubrey Drake Graham,’ announced that after winning big, he will be holding a dinner for a star high school basketball player at Royal Crown Academy, a boy named Michael, and his mother.

The rapper characterized the mom as one of the hardest working women he has ever met, working multiple jobs in the hopes of seeing her son Michael achieve great success and have a brighter future.

As a result, he and LeBron James surprised the Toronto mother and her son with $100,000 in cash via Stake, Stakes, which is one of the country’s largest betting, sports, and Bitcoin (Cryptocurrency) platforms.

Prior to Drake and James delivering them the $100,000 cash, Michael told his mother that he respects his hard work, but that he respects her hard work even more, and that he wants to relieve the Toronto mother’s expectations for a better future for his son with his money.

After delivering them the money, they were taken aback by the video and tears of pleasure began to pour because they had not expected it, and even if they had, not for such a large sum of money.

Drake also informed his partner, James, that he will donate a whopping $1,000,000 to his LeBron James Family Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting needy youngsters, with the help of Stake.
