As the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM approaches, FIFA releases the first official soundtrack, named ‘Hayya Hayya,’ starring Davido, Trinidad Cardona, and Aisha, ahead of tonight’s final draw.
Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Doha Exhibition & Conference Centre in Qatar, the final draw for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup competitions took place.
FIFA decided that releasing the first official soundtrack ahead of the draw, out of a series of soundtracks that will be published soon, was the correct and proper thing to do.
Hayya Hayya (Better Together) by FIFA features Afrobeats sensation Davido, Nigeria’s own multiple award-winning artist and record producer, as well as Trinidad Cardona, an American R&B singer and social media presence from Arizona, and Aisha from the Middle East.
This soccer body’s entertainment strategy was designed to forge new and significant links between football fans, music fans, players, artists, and the game.
The multi-song soundtrack will bring enthusiastic fans closer to the spirit of the FIFA World Cup than ever before, bringing together the voices of the three musical artists on board for this song from the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East, as part of FIFA’s new music strategy. Kay Madati, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer, believes so.
The first public performance of the newly released FIFA World Cup 2022 Soundtrack ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’, which was released specifically for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Draw, took place on Friday night in front of a worldwide audience of football fans who tuned in from around the world to watch the highly anticipated draw starting at 19:00 local time.
