President Akufo-Addo, who approved austerity measures including a travel ban for all public employees, has “secretly” flew out to the United States, where he is scheduled to speak later today at T.D Jake’s church.

President Akufo-Addo departed Ghana on March 31, 2022.

Following the T.D Jakes event, titled the International Leadership Summit, the President will fly to the United Kingdom later tomorrow and return to Ghana on April 6, 2022.

The International Leadership Summit (ILS), formerly the International Pastors and Leadership Conference, has been cultivating aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs, leaders, and influential change agents since 2011, according to the program website, with invaluable leadership insights from T.D. Jakes, ILS visionary and founder.

President Akufo-Addo will speak at the Master Class session later this evening.

It’s still unknown whether the President flew his extravagant $18,000-per-hour private plane to the US and would link to the UK later tomorrow.

It will be recalled that President Akufo-Addo attended an event in February at which the American bishop, while introducing the President to his audience, stated that Ghana has been transformed under his leadership.

According to him, President Akufo-achievements, Addo’s such as making Ghana a thriving digital hub and his efforts to make the country into a vital vacation destination, have astounded him.

“I’ve been watching the President of the Republic of Ghana and the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces with bated breath for quite some time. This month, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo will address our International Leadership Summit.” And, in case you’re not aware of the state of affairs in Africa, Ghana is one of the continent’s wealthiest countries, which he [Akufo-Addo] has entirely turned around.”

Some Ghanaians mocked T. D Jakes for his comments.
