Mrs. Emily Akuffo, also known as Ceci Amodraa, the former First Lady of Ghana, died recently.
General FWK Akuffo’s 88-year-old wife died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, April 8, 2022, exactly one day after former Second Lady Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama died.
From July 1, 1978, to June 4, 1979, Mrs Emily Akuffo served as First Lady of Ghana. Her occupation was that of a teacher.
She spent the years following her husband’s death in her hometown of Akropong, away from the spotlight.
