GOIL donates beds to 37 Military Hospital

Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has provided 50 beds to the 37 Military Hospital’s Pediatric unit in Accra.

The beds, which are valued at $250, 000, will help the hospital’s Pediatric Ward provide better health care.

Kwame Osei-Prempeh, Group Chief Executive and Managing Director, said GOIL will continue to assist the government in providing assistance to health facilities so that people’s safety and well-being are ensured.

He said that the company would continue to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility by aiding health-care institutions around the country in improving their operations and health-care delivery, and he urged hospital administrators to look after the beds.

He urged Ghanaians to use GOIL’s gasoline products whenever possible, particularly the low-sulfur Diesel XP and Super XP RON 95.

Brigadier General Azumah Bugri, the Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital, expressed gratitude to GOIL on behalf of the hospital and stated that the donation will help the hospital provide better services to patients.

Madam Angela Forson, a member of the GOIL Board of Directors; Colonel Francisca Aba Amakyi, Chief Nursing Officer; Colonel Patience Owusu Aidoo, Chief Nursing Officer- Clinical; Colonel Rahinatu Alando, Chief Nursing Officer- Administration; Officer in Charge- Pediatrics, Dr Emmanuel Abbey Quaye, Administrative Officer-General, Lt Col Alex Abiti, and other hospital officials attended the ceremony.
