Laura Wasser, who is she?
Laura Allison Wasser (LAW) is a family law specialist, author, and businesswoman with over 20 years of expertise. Laura Wasser and her colleagues have established an intuitive and straightforward approach for uncontested divorces that is available to everyone after handling a number of high-profile, high-net-worth divorce cases.
She attended the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from Loyola Law School with a law degree. Laura gives talks and sits on panels as part of continuing education programs. She’s also spoken at Loyola Law School, the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and the University of California Berkeley Hall School of Law as a guest lecturer.
Laura is a member of the Executive Committees of the Beverly Hills Bar Family Law Section and the Los Angeles Bar-Family Law Section. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Loyola Law School, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, the Board of Trustees of Oakwood School, the Advisory Council of the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, and the Advisory Council of the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law. In 2021, the Daily Journal named her one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” in the country.
She has worked with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Ryan Reynolds, Anna Faris, Jimmy Iovine, Maria Shriver, and Stevie Wonder, but she believes that divorce is the great equalizer since it scares everyone.
Laura has made it her mission to revolutionize the uncontested divorce process by launching It’s Over Easy, an online divorce business that provides divorcing couples with a convenient and economical way to end their marriage. Couples can utilize the platform to complete their family law forms, negotiate child and spousal support, create a co-parenting agreement, serve their spouse with the divorce petition, and submit the final settlement package to the court.
It’s Over Easy is transforming the way people think about divorce by making knowledge, tools, and support available to anybody going through the process.
Laura feels that by making the divorce process easier to understand online and sharing her extensive experience in family law with her audience, couples may recover control of their own lives.
